Online tickets
Our tickets are non-refundable. However, amendments can be made to bookings up to 48 hours before arrival time, within your account.
Tickets may be transferred to another date up to 48hrs in advance of your visit, or to cancel tickets for a credit voucher please email us hello@playdalefarmpark.co.uk but you must do so at least 48 hours prior to your visit.
- Please check and amend any errors before placing your order with us. If you need to make a change after booking, please log in to your account if you have one or if you did not create an account when booking your tickets, please email hello@playdalefarmpark.co.uk.
- Tickets are available online including the day of. Bookings can be managed through your account up to 48 hours before the arrival time. You do not need to pre-book tickets online, if you are unsure of your intended visit date you may want to pay on the door instead.
- If you arrive at the farm without all your party, unfortunately no compensation can be offered for unused tickets if you haven’t managed your booking at least 48 hours prior to arrival.
- All online tickets incur a booking fee of 50p per ticket, which cannot be refunded if tickets are cancelled.
- We reserve the right to change our ticket prices or withdraw promotions at any time, this will not affect tickets that have been booked already.
- Only one promotion may be used per booking.
- Tickets cannot be resold for financial or commercial gain.
- Once you have been admitted to the farm you will not be able to leave the premises and return except to collect things from your vehicle for which you will need to ask for a hand stamp on your way through the shop.
- Please use gift vouchers before the expiry date as they are non-refundable if not redeemed.
- Children under 1 may visit free of charge, if a child’s age is in doubt and you are unable to provide proof of age, we ask that you pay the appropriate admission charge on entry. We’ll then be pleased to give you a refund if you’re subsequently able to supply this information.
- All persons entering the park must be in possession of a valid admission ticket (whether that has been purchases online or paid for on the day of visit). Any persons attempting to gain entry to the park without payment will be refused entry.
Restrictions on Use of Content
We permit access to our site on a temporary basis and we reserve the right to withdraw, restrict or change our site at any time and without prior notice. We will not be liable if content is changed or out of date, nor will we be liable if our site is unavailable at any time.
Use of this website constitutes your acknowledgement and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to change, add or remove portions of these Terms and Policies at any time. Please check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Playdale Farm Park site following the posting of changes to these Terms and Policies means you accept the changes we make.
During your visit
- We reserve the right to close attractions or move animals at short notice. We will not provide compensation for animals not being in view during your visit.
- In the interest of animal welfare, we reserve the right to alter the daily schedule, including animal handling sessions, at short notice.
- Smoking and vaping is permitted only at 2 designated smoking areas, if a visitor is seen smoking or vaping elsewhere they may be asked to leave the farm.
- Inappropriate behaviour around the farm is prohibited. We have the right to refuse entry, or escort individuals from the premises without refund due to behaviour we deem to be inappropriate or likely to affect the enjoyment of other visitors. This includes, but is not limited to; abusive language, aggressive/threatening behaviour to people or animals, intoxication, and not following safety rules. Where a visitor is part of a group, we reserve the right to remove the whole group from the park in addition to the individual involved.
- Please follow all health and safety guidelines as instructed, either verbally by a member of staff, or as noted on signage across our site.
- Children should be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times. Visitors under the age of 16 must have an adult with them.
- Outdoor play areas may be partially or completely closed during extreme weather.
- Dogs are not allowed into the farm attraction, with the exception of assistance dogs. Do not leave any animals unattended, or in a vehicle in our car park. Proof will be required for any assistance dogs being brought onto the farm.
- We recommend that visitors wear suitable clothing & footwear.
Animal contact
- Bags of animal feed can be purchased at £1.00 each.
- You can purchase these when booking online, or purchase at the farm on the day.
- PLEASE NOTE: Our animal feed may contain a variety of allergens. If you have allergies such as nuts, gluten, soya, etc, you should not handle feed. Ask to see feed ingedients if you have any concerns but please note that animal feed mills do not adhere to the same standards for cross contamination as factories manufacturing food for human consumption and we therefore cannot guarantee that the ingredients in the animal feed is limited to what is listed.
- Please take note of signs around the farm, as the feed is not suitable for all our animals.
- Our animal feed is not for human consumption.
- For safety reasons, minimum ages apply to our animal handling sessions. Children under 2 years old may not hold the animals, our staff reserve the right to refuse to hand animals to children they deem too young or disruptive, but will offer a reasonable compromise (we are happy for parents to hold animals for their children to see in their push chair or for one adult to hold an animal while an accompanying adult holds their infant – this is for the safety of the child and the animal)
Photography and CCTV
- We (and occasionally, third parties) regularly livestream, film and photograph our premises and animals.
- Please make a member of staff aware if you do not wish to be filmed.
- Intellectual property rights apply, and we have the right to use footage and photographs for the purpose of promotion on any platform.
- Visitors may take photographs and videos for personal use only. Filming and photography for public broadcast, commercial purposes, or training is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from Playdale Farm Park
Rules and instructions for the safety of visitors, staff and animals are clearly displayed around the farm park. These rules and instructions must be adhered to. Any visitor who deliberately disregards our set rules and instructions will be asked to leave.
If a visitor breaches our Terms or other rules and instructions notified to them in relation to the farm park, they may be responsible for paying reasonable compensation to Playdale Farm Park for any costs incurred by us as a result of such breach.
Any injury sustained on the premises must be reported to farm park staff on the day, so that we can provide any required first aid and ensure the incident is recorded.
Food and drink must not be consumed in animal contact areas. Hands must be washed regularly when touching animals.
Playdale Farm Park is not liable for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. We are neither liable for any loss or damage that arises as a result of events outside of our control, for example extreme weather conditions.
We want to maintain a safe and secure environment for you and your family and may ask for your identification on arrival. We don’t knowingly allow anyone to use or visit our parks who is a convicted child sex offender, subject to the notification requirements of the Sexual Offences Act 2003, or subject to a Risk of Sexual Harm Order or Child Abduction Notice.
Group visits
- To receive a group discount, groups must book in advance either in person or over the phone only on 01723 586351
- The minimum number required to receive group discount varies by date and the rate of discount is dependent upon date and number of visitors, please enquire by phone. The minimum number applies to paying persons only and does not include under 1s. If your group arrives with a different number of visitors to which a price was quoted for, we maintain the right to alter the price.
- Group bookings must be paid for on the day in one transaction. Please have your final group numbers ready on arrival.
